What an amazing day. Think this was one of the best days I’ve ever had in London. I spent the morning at home watching the ceremony on TV whilst I did some work, the music during the ceremony was outstanding and I found the whole thing surprisingly touching for a state wedding. Good on them.
I went and picked Paolo up from City Airport straight after the wedding and once back and unpacked we headed out to the street party in Wilton way. The atmosphere was so positive, lot’s of dancing and of course drinking, but everyone seemed really happy to be part of something National. The whole thing was in the Wall Street Journal Speakeasy.
There were loads of people down there I didn’t expect and hadn’t seen for ages, plus it mean’t I didn’t have to ferry Paolo around to see everyone. After a while we went to meet Tina & Thomas in Broadway market for a glass of wine and then dragged them back to Wilton Way. Wish I’d have taken more photos, but I was to busy enjoying myself.
